Coffee Afloat is a coffee boat servicing Lake Dunstan and the hugely popular Lake Dunstan Cycle & Walking Trail in Central Otago.

Our floating cafe and burger bar are docked halfway along the trail between the Cromwell Heritage Precinct and Clyde Historic Village, so you can enjoy one of the most remote coffees you’ll ever have, whilst enjoying a day out on this fantastic trail.

You can enjoy barista coffee, cold drinks, ice creams, fresh baking and now burgers, waffles and bacon butties all at the base of the Cairnmuir Ladder.

Based in Cromwell, Central Otago, New Zealand.

Coffee Drip

Grid Coffee's house blend is Columbian based. It's medium bodied and smooth with a rich, fruity flavour and hints of caramel. Yummy!

The new Lake Dunstan Cycle & Walking Trail links Cromwell and Clyde. Explore otherwise accessible areas along the trail which follows Lake Dunstan.

Cappuccino

Our takeaway coffee cups are fully biodegradable - no plastic liners or lids. Our local worm farm makes compost out of your cup once you've finished with it.
